I am studying abroad in Pau, France spring semester of 2010. This is a blog for my family and friends to follow my life abroad and keep in touch with me. I also am keeping this blog as a personal memoir for myself to reflect on when I get back. Hopefully I will write on here every other day or so! If you like my blogs please subscibe! There is a link on the bottom of the main page to do so =)
Hi-
I found your blog while doing some research on Pau, and I was wondering if you could help me out a little bit. I am planning on studying abroad with USAC in Pau, France next spring, but I am worried about how you get around Europe from there. One of the things I am looking forward to is traveling when I’m over there, but it seems that Pau is a difficult place to get to and from. How did you achieve visiting so many places? Did you go by train? bus? plane? What sort of passes did you purchase? Would you recommend USAC and Pau?
Thanks for your help. Please feel free to email me at mcmahonms@gmail.com.
Thanks again,
Molly
Hi Katie,
I’m also looking into studying abroad through USAC next fall in Pau, and I found your blog while googling some stuff about the program. Any advice you can offer after doing it? I’m kind of nervous about the idea of staying with a family, what did you think overall? Also, I saw that you took a placement test, but USAC told me it was optional–is this true?
Thanks for any help you can give me!
